Jira Integration
Connect Jira Cloud so your agent can read projects, retrieve issues and create or update tickets, from the API token through to verification.
Overview
Jira integration allows your agent to:
- Access projects
- Retrieve issues
- Create tickets
- Update tickets
- Search across Jira spaces
Step 1: Generate Jira API Token

Open your Jira Cloud instance.

Click your profile icon.

Select Account settings.

Go to Security.

Scroll to API tokens.

Click Create and manage API tokens.

Click Create API token.

Enter a token name, such as CommandLyne Integration.

Set an expiration date.

Click Create.

Copy the token.
Step 2: Configure Jira in CommandLyne

Go to Agents.

Click your running agent.

Open Settings.

Scroll to Integrations.

Locate Jira.
-

Enable Jira Integration.

Enter:
- Jira URL
- Email address
- API Token

Click Save Configuration.

Wait around 1–2 minutes.

Refresh the page.
Verify Jira Integration
Ask the agent:
-
Do you have access to my Jira projects?
List my Jira projects.
Show me issues from project CAP.
Create a test issue in project XYZ.
Troubleshooting
If authentication fails:

- Verify the email address.
- Make sure the API token is valid.
- Re-save the configuration.
- Refresh the page.
